The school hall at St Marys RC Primary School in Middleton had a fabulous new lease of life last week when our dedicated (and talented!) team restored the tired oak flooring to a perfect finish. The once weary oak floor, bearing the marks and memories of countless school events, has been rejuvenated to its former glory.
The meticulous process of sanding, using various grades to gently coax the grain and character of the wood to the surface, was just the beginning. The application of three coats of Junckers HP Commercial lacquer not only enhances the wood’s natural beauty but ensures its endurance against the bustling activities of school life.
From the pitter-patter of little feet at breakfast clubs to the rhythmic thumps of PE classes, the floor is now a robust stage for the daily performances of school life. It’s ready to welcome the echoes of assemblies, the shuffling of parents’ meetings, and the laughter of school fairs.
The floor now radiates beauty, with a promise of many more years of service, ready for the arrival of children in September for the new academic year.
The feedback from the school’s staff highlights the impact of this project. Diane, the School Business Manager, praised the floor’s stunning transformation and the pleasant nature of the team.
Anne, the caretaker, expressed gratitude for the exceptional work, noting the team’s professionalism and the remarkable outcome. Their recommendations are a seal of approval that speaks volumes of the craftsmanship and the pride taken in such work.
